A Taste of Spring
It is so much fun photographing children. They are an outrageous mix of being completely oblivious of the camera and posing in the perfect ways for it. The three 3-year-olds in this session have been friends for years now, and they love to play together. The chance to preserve some precious memories of them playing together on a warm day following a week of snow was too good to pass up. And when they started doing things like grinning at the camera and then running from it, making “sand angels,” and mixing dirt with water to make “hot chocolate,” it almost made my job too easy. And who knew little sister would be the most cooperative when it came to smiling for the camera?!
Enjoy a few of the moments of these three (plus a not-so-baby sister!) playing and remember that Spring is right around the corner, so it’s time to schedule your Spring Mini-Session or Spring Session with Candace or me!!! You can see the rest of the gallery here.

A couple of weeks ago, North Carolina experienced such a unique snowstorm. It left many people stranded, cars abandoned and mounds of snow within minutes of falling. To my surprise, my friend sends a text that her precious baby boy made his arrival the same time I was trekking through the snow (on foot after abandoning my car) to pick up my girls from school. So, not only is Baby B precious to his family, his birth date will never be forgotten by all of North Carolina. How lucky! LOL! He’s already making history.
Yesterday, I had the privilege of capturing a most loving family as they continue to welcome baby B to the world. Of course he was more interested in what was going on around him than going back to sleep, but we had a great time. As with any newborn session, I am ready and willing to wait for the best images for the family. Like all of my sessions, I had to edit a few images for the family as soon as I returned home. Here are a few images….Enjoy!
We don’t get a lot of snow here in North Carolina, so when we do, it’s quite the production. Especially when you have a little one. My son is 3, and this was the biggest snow we’ve had since he was 4 months old. So we have spent the last few days outside in the snow as much as possible. I had so much fun capturing his wonder and joy as he discovered all that’s possible with a good snow. I wanted to share some more of my pictures, since I am new to AriZoe Images. More are available to view on our SmugMug site.
